Pay Range
$25 - $28 per hour on W2 Job Description:
Responsible for performing inspections, tests and/or audits of purchased parts, units, materials, for incoming parts in receiving, Verification of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing against engineering drawings Utilize measurement devices tools such as Calipers, Height Gauge, Optical Comparator, micrometers, scales, and dimensional measurement systems Utilize surface plates, precision measuring tools, gauges (blocks) and other mechanical inspection tools/tooling Access drawings and inspection instructions; document non-conformances Visual inspections of hardware using microscopes and magnifying lens Review Supplier documentation for adherence to Quality Clauses and Drawing Notes Initiate nonconformance report describing and photographing discrepancies Maintains support documentation and performs sampling and testing of incoming components, raw materials, and build of assemblies. Reviews and reports performance data. May interface with customer quality representatives or suppliers. Overall Summary
Fully proficient support individual contributors. Works under limited supervision. May be a resource to other employees in areas of expertise. Assignments are moderately difficult requiring some judgment. Nature of Supervision
Works under limited supervision. Less detailed instructions are provided, and minimal peer review is required. Communication & Influence
