Job Summary

This role will perform a variety of custodial duties along with event conversion.

Department-Specific Responsibilities Uses of low powered cleaning equipment for multi- surface floors. Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms. Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications. Seasonal removal of snow from sidewalks and entrances using snow blowers and/or snow shovels and spread snow melting chemicals. Identifies and reports items in the building that need repair. Event set-up/tear-down. Qualifications

EDUCATION

Required

High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED) WORK EXPERIENCE

Preferred

Previous custodial or maintenance experience SKILLS

Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions Basic computer tasks, including sending and organizing emails, opening and editing documents Performs work safely, efficiently and as trained (especially in areas of biohazard and/or hazardous waste cleanup) Emphasize pride in their work and a positive approach to work environment Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment Ability to perform well within small work groups. The person in this role must be able to lift 10-40 pounds frequently for cleaning purposes. The person in this role must be able to move through multi-level facilities and stand for long periods of time performing their job responsibilities. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without accommodation.

Advertised Salary

$11.50 per hour

Work Hours

This is a part-time hourly position with various 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. The work schedule is generally scheduled in the evenings with varying days of the week including some holiday and weekends depending on the event schedule.

Minimum of 8 hours a week and maximum of 29 hours a week.
