WHO ARE WE?
We are Electric Shuffle! The award-winning hospitality concept that has reimagined shuffleboard alongside social entertainment and is on a mission to create the most incredible bars in the world. We've paired our patented gameplay technology with delicious food and craft cocktails, award-winning venue design, and an incredible high-energy atmosphere to deliver an unforgettable experience.
Our concept was created by our parent company, Red Engine. A multi-discipline global company that is looking to disrupt the hospitality industry. We look to deliver the best experience for our guests and team across our amazing venues, products, and brands. With 16 venues across four countries, we are looking for incredible new people to join our team as we continue to grow!

We spent years researching and testing ways to revamp the game of shuffleboard for large groups to enjoy. After throwing thousands of pucks, focus grouping hundreds of people, and spending countless hours on tech development, High-Tech Shuffleboard was born.
The concept was created by our parent company out of London, Red Engine. Red Engine has established itself as a global leader and genuine innovator in the social entertainment space. It is the creator of two award-winning concepts, Electric Shuffle and Flight Club.

WHAT IS THE ROLE?
To be successful as a People & Training Partner on the Electric Shuffle Team, you will be responsible for supporting the Director of People in the following:
People Partner Support
Oversee the success of our recruitment and induction processes with venue managers Review and track induction feedback to ensure effective onboarding and training experiences Partner with the People Director to track succession planning and talent development strategies Track and report quarterly coffee chats and ENPS with venue teams to build strong relationships Support Employee Relations efforts in partnership with Director of People and venue teams Training and Ops Support
Organize and oversee the success of our training program for BAU (and NVO when needed) Evaluate training effectiveness and gather feedback for innovative and continuous improvements Communicate updates to training modules and materials as needed Track skills workshops initiatives and masterclasses for venue teams Support operational initiatives and standards in partnership with Director of Ops Culture and Communications
Champion and execute wellness, reward & recognition, and culture initiatives across venues Manage and communicate People programs and campaigns to drive engagement Support the coordination of company events, celebrations, and major milestones Act as a culture ambassador to reinforce Electric Shuffle's values in all interactions People Administration
Oversee essential People Department administrative needs, including employment verifications, record maintenance, and compliance tracking Support with reporting, systems updates, troubleshooting, and audits as needed Coordinate People communications, reminders, and process updates Assist with travel arrangements, benefits coordination, and general admin needs as required Update and maintain all HR trackers and universal workbooks WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
3+ years in a Human Resources, Venue Operations, and/or Training environments within a hospitality or food & beverage environment Experience managing venue teams is a strong plus A quick learning mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive hands-on approach Experience supporting multi-site operations with small to mid-sized teams Demonstrated track record of clear communication, organizational skills, and ability to work independently A passion for people and culture, with the ambition to help build and shape a global brand An aspiring leader looking to join a fast-growing company with a start-up culture that allows you to set your own growth path and initiatives Resilience; consistently performing at a high level, even under pressure Excellent interpersonal skills and influencing skills across all levels of the business and for "making things happen" Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Confidence and ability to self-manage and prioritize when faced with multiple tasks.
