Warehouse Associate
Join our dynamic team as an Inbound Forklift Operator! Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to unload trucks and move goods throughout the distribution center (DC).
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport incoming merchandise from trucks to the dock, and from the dock to designated stocking areas.
Accurately stock all rack merchandise and organize rack surplus within specific zones.
Set down surplus items for optimal order fulfillment and stocking replenishments.
Perform various tasks that require fork truck operation.
Replenish outbound totes as needed.
Assist in maintaining the organization of mezzanine zones.
Adhere to safety standards while operating equipment and proactively identify safety hazards.
Experienced team members may serve as trainers, guiding new hires through the training program and ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Required:
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Operating knowledge of forklifts and other power equipment.
Preferred:
High school diploma or GED.
Experience with various types of power equipment.
In-depth knowledge of warehouse parts lines and surplus merchandise locations.
Proficient computer skills.
Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish, is a strong plus.
