Position Overview:
As a Lift Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective operation of all Deer Valley lifts by performing essential maintenance and emergency repairs. Your Responsibilities: Conduct daily startup and inspections of lifts throughout the year Assist with in-service and after-hours maintenance and repairs Engage in safety and equipment training Keep workspaces and equipment clean and organized Participate in morning briefings and ensure timely completion of records Perform all routine mechanical inspections for the lifts Support other departments as needed Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old Provide your own hand, power, and electrical tools Ability to climb lift terminal stairs and tower ladders Strong skiing skills are essential Willingness to accept direction and instructions Physical ability to lift and position heavy components (50 lbs or more) in mountainous terrain Team player, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues Comfortable working in extreme weather and at heights Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals Maintain a positive attitude toward guests at all times Working Knowledge: Understanding of lift theory and operation Familiarity with mechanical, electro-mechanical, and hydraulic systems Knowledge of AC/DC circuits and troubleshooting methods Routine lift mechanical inspections Safe operation of snowmobiles and other company equipment Control systems knowledge is highly preferred Employment Details: Year Round Pay Rate: $24-29 per hour based on experience Deer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
