Description

The Senior Manager, Greek Life Organizations is responsible for leading The Jed Foundation (JED)'s work with fraternities and sororities. This is a regular, full-time position. The Senior Manager of JED Greek Life Organizations (JED GLO) will ideally be a creative, innovative thinker who enjoys building and scaling programs with support and working in tandem with teammates. This role serves as the primary internal point person, and also the external face of JED to fraternal organizations seeking to improve their policies, practices, and procedures, in mental health, substance misuse, hazing prevention, sexual assault prevention, and suicide prevention. Collaborating with program administrators, stakeholders, and participants, this position ensures the successful delivery of mental health support and suicide prevention programs, on-time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in program development and management in Greek-letter organizations, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Building & Consulting Lead the program design, content, and implementation planning, in concert with teammates and with direction from the Senior Director, Clinical Advising and Community Programs. As the main point of contact for JED GLO, lead recruitment of and build relationships with, and meet regularly with Greek-letter organization leadership. Develop and implement a technical assistance and customized consulting program, including regular meetings, assessment, strategic plan development, and sustainability planning, with the option for quarterly cohort meetings. Oversee quality implementation of JED GLO programs in alignment with JED's Comprehensive Approach to Mental Health Promotion and Suicide Prevention. Consult with participating organizations on mental health promotion, suicide prevention, substance use programming, hazing prevention, and sexual assault prevention services, and policies. Assessment, Data Analysis, and Reporting

Lead programmatic reviews of the JED GLO program. Analyze impact data (in concert with JED's Design & Impact team) on JED's work with fraternal organizations to inform strategies and make adjustments in implementation. Draft feedback reports and executive summaries for key stakeholders. Support organizations in the ongoing assessment of their efforts, benchmarking work against a rubric. Utilize Salesforce to record and codify contacts with participating organizations, tracking progress, types of intervention, utilization of resources, etc. Create presentations and reports for various internal and external audiences. Project/Program Administration

Serve as the main point of contact on special projects within the GLO program internally and externally, tracking activity across the organization. Provide recommendations to the Senior Director, Clinical Advising and Community Programs on strategy, budget, and resource planning. Establish project plans, using RACI models, for JED GLO programs, working across functions to complete deliverables. Partner with other departments to manage grant requirements, time allocation, and reporting for JED GLO work within budget. Strategize for program growth and train others to implement this work as the program grows. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Qualifications and Experience:

Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, public health, or a related field; or equivalent work experience. At least 5 to 7 years of professional experience working in or with fraternities/sororities or in similar settings, with an emphasis on young adult services, such as counseling and/or health services, wellness, substance use, suicide prevention and crisis management, and/or public health. Extensive experience working with diverse groups of young adults, interested in learning from and alongside youth and fraternal organizations and approaches work with an equity lens. Experience working in or with fraternal organization staff and leadership. Leadership skills with experience collaborating across teams. Proven success at establishing, implementing, and managing programs. Skilled in project management practices, (e.g. RASCI models and other tools). Problem-identification and problem-solving abilities Experience developing and delivering community training. Collaborative- works well with organizations to help bring out their ideas and recommend solutions that address needs. Knowledge of suicide prevention and mental health promotion and a commitment to The Jed Foundation's mission and guiding principles. Empathetic communicator with a passion for advocating for mental health and supporting young adults and who engages using an inclusive and accessible approach. Ability to work in a face-paced, changing and growing organization.
