Summary:
The Mushroom Company (TMC) is looking for an experienced Industrial Technician / Parts Attendant proficient in computer use and knowledgeable about industrial parts and components.
Our ideal candidate will be meticulous, possess excellent technical abilities, and prioritize safety and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
1. Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards in the workplace and report findings to management.
- Stay informed about the industry's best practices and compliance requirements.
2. Maintenance Support:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Perform repairs on various types of equipment, including conveyors, motors, pumps, including preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to learn how to start up and shut down the Ammonia system and boilers.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and change motors.
- Familiar with Variable frequency drive (VFD's) is a plus
3. Parts Management:
- Maintain an organized inventory of parts, tools, and supplies.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder parts as necessary to minimize downtime.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and issuing parts and equipment.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and inventory levels.
- Update maintenance logs and parts inventory systems as appropriate.
- Prepare reports for management on equipment status and inventory needs.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
- Communicate effectively with production staff and supervisors regarding equipment and parts needs.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support production goals.
- Aid in training new staff on parts handling and equipment maintenance.
Schedule:
Monday Thru Friday
From 7:00am until 3:30pm
- Occasional overtime or emergency response may be required, including off-shift and weekend work.
During peak season will require 6 days per week.
