Nightshift Schedule: 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM (Continental/Block Schedule)
Base Pay: $17.50/Hour with an Additional $1.00/hour Shift Differential
Note: Training may initially occur on Dayshift.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow all health and safety protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and ensure proper wear of personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the production areas.
Maintain food quality and safety standards as directed by corporate, customer, and regulatory bodies.
Report any issues related to the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) to management for timely corrective action.
Perform repair and preventive maintenance as well as line changeovers with precision.
Diagnose machinery malfunctions across electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
Conduct maintenance on production support systems, including glycol, RO systems, compressed air, lubrication systems, and chemical distribution systems.
Implement creative problem-solving methods to reduce downtimes and ensure food safety and product quality.
Document and retrieve approvals for completed work orders, tracking all used parts for inventory management.
Effectively communicate maintenance and production information during shift transitions.
Assist in training new maintenance staff as required.
Collaborate with production staff during downtimes to resolve issues swiftly.
Engage with adjacent teams to drive improvements and solve problems quickly.
Essential Skills:
Familiarity with GMPs and Food Safety Requirements.
Competence in reading and interpreting machinery blueprints and parts manuals.
Ability to work independently and make well-informed decisions.
Problem-solving skills to address maintenance challenges effectively.
Forklift certification required.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is essential.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
Work Environment:
Work Schedule: Flexibility required for weekdays, weekends, and night shifts, with overtime as needed.
Expect a fast-paced production setting with potential for high noise levels and temperature variations. Safety gear is mandatory.
Travel Requirements:
Minimal travel may be necessary for training purposes.
