The

Senior Human Resources Generalist

is a key member of the Human Resources team, responsible for supporting a broad range of HR functions including employee relations, policy administration, compliance, compensation, and professional development. This role serves as a trusted advisor to both employees and management, supporting organizational goals and fostering a "First in Service" culture.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports the development and implementation of learning and training initiatives to enhance employee skills and support organizational goals.

Administers HR learning tools and platforms and drives engagement with managers and staff.

Provides guidance to managers on employee evaluations, career development, and corrective actions.

Develops, implements and administers HR policies and procedures.

Drives compliance adherence at the federal, state, and local level across multiple states and offices, including California, Illinois, Ohio, Delaware, and New York.

Regularly conducts audits within the HR Operations function to ensure compliance with current laws and requirements

Stays current on regulatory changes and best practices in Human Resources.

Researches and recommends adjustments to pay ranges for all non-timekeeper positions.

Collects and analyzes detailed information about job duties to ensure accurate job classification and compensation.

Maintains accurate and comprehensive job descriptions for all non-timekeeper positions.

Assists in the annual compensation review and bonus calculation process for support staff.

Manages the Firm's intern program, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and providing ongoing support to ensure a positive and productive experience for all participants.

Conducts regular trainings to new hires on essential firm policies.

Backs up other HR team members on exit interviews, offboarding, orientations, and other employee-facing initiatives.

Collaborates with senior HR leaders on initiatives, projects, and continuous improvement efforts.

Creates and maintains process documentation for areas of responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS

The Senior Human Resources Generalist must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience. 7-10 years of well-rounded HR experience and HR certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) is preferred.

Essential skills include strong interpersonal and communication abilities, excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, integrity in handling sensitive information, and a solid understanding of employment laws. Experience with learning and development programming is highly preferred. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office is required. The role involves close collaboration with HR and cross-functional teams, up to 10–15% travel, and flexible hours as needed.
