Hourly rate + .55 cent mileage reimbursement + tolls/parking.
Hours: Mon, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun - 3pm-11:30pm
Overview We are hiring a Field Service Technician with hands-on experience servicing electromechanical equipment, HVAC systems, or cash-handling machines. This is a field-based role that involves daily travel to customer sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain ATMs, point-of-sale systems, and related devices.
Job Description As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
Responding to service calls across your assigned territory Using company-provided tools and repair kits to perform on-site diagnostics and repairs Managing 5-8 service requests per day, ranging from routine maintenance to equipment troubleshooting Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and minor repairs on ATMs (e.g., replacing air filters, belts, light bulbs) Clear jams (cards, bills, receipts) and resolve hardware malfunctions Pull cables, mount devices, and install locking mechanisms such as Mas-Hamilton locks Prioritize service calls based on urgency and geography Document all service activities and maintain communication with dispatch
Required Experience Candidates must have hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas:
Electromechanical repair (e.g., servicing card readers, printers, vending machines) HVAC systems (including field service and troubleshooting) Cash-handling equipment (e.g., ATMs, kiosks, currency counters, safes)
Other Requirements
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle for the temp period Willingness to drive frequently throughout the day Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Must be comfortable using hand tools and following technical documentation A company vehicle will be provided upon permanent hire
Training
Comprehensive training is provided through on-the-job mentoring, virtual learning, and classroom instruction
