Cybersecurity Engineering Team Lead
Key Role:
Leverage domain knowledge to create cybersecurity solutions aligned to the client's mission. Apply advanced consult ing skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
6+ years of experience with IT and information security or cybersecurity engineering
2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, including team lead or manager
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for engineering and operations
Knowledge of industry, USG, and DoD best practices, including in incident response, security operations center ( SOC ) , int rus ion prevention technologies, SIEM tools, and endpoint security
Top Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
DoD 8570 IAT Level III or CSSP Incident Resp ond er Certification
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with team lead functions, including project management and task management
Experience managing standard infrastructure production environments of size and scope similar to the requirements of mid-sized DoD global organizations
Experience creating, maintaining, and enforcing technical configurations in accordance with DoD STIG policies , orders, standards, guidelines, and procedures
Knowledge of DoD system, security, storage, network, or data security requirements
Possession of excellent communication skills, including with mid-level and senior leadership
Bachelor's degree in IT or a related Engineering or Cybersecurity field
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
