Senior Technical Project Manager Location:

W2 Introduction We're looking for an accomplished Senior Technical Project Manager who is passionate about leading innovative IT infrastructure and cloud-based projects. This role offers the exciting opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of complex initiatives, including data center modernizations and cloud migrations. Required Skills & Qualifications 10+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 5+ years dedicated to infrastructure or cloud projects. Demonstrated success in cloud migration projects (e.g., lift-and-shift and database upgrades/refactoring). In-depth knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategy planning and implementation. Experience managing infrastructure rollouts, including networking, virtualization, servers, and storage. Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and infrastructure project lifecycles. Strong organizational, negotiation, mediation, and leadership skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with Agile methodologies and adaptable delivery methods. Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience in hybrid IT environments (combining on-premises and cloud-based systems). PMP certification is a plus. Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM), endpoint management, and infrastructure security controls. Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps. Understanding of ITIL, DevOps, and CI/CD practices. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead and manage three or more large-scale infrastructure/cloud projects across cross-functional teams. Plan and execute initiatives such as software migrations and disaster recovery strategies. Act as a central coordinator among engineering, architecture, DevOps, cybersecurity, and business units. Develop and oversee project documentation, including schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status reports. Proactively manage scope changes, risks, and dependencies. Facilitate planning sessions and regular sync meetings with stakeholders to ensure project alignment. Build and nurture relationships with sponsors, technical leads, and operational teams to support execution.
