Overview:

Control Valve PLanner

Schedule :

40 hours per week during planning phase; 7/12's schedule during turnaround execution.

Planning phase expected from 8/4/25 - 9/2026, execution phase 10/2026 - 11/2026, project closeout - 12/2026

Required ppe : hard hat, safety glasses, steel toe boots, frc clothing

Duties: Proven ability to effectively interact with multi-functional areas (Planning, Scheduling, Engineering, Logistics, Purchasing, Finance, Quality, etc.) Understands instrumentation construction and workflow processes. Some bending, climbing, crawling, lifting and shift work will be required. Ability to accurately perform other duties as assigned. Understands quality standards Qualifications:

Ability to read and interpret P&ID's, valve specs, and location plans Experience in preparing and reviewing test /work packages for issuance to the field 5+ years as a Control Valve Planner Proficient in the use of computers and business software, including Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook) OneNote, SAP, Primavera P6. 5+ years of Control Valve Tech maintenance experience and/or CV maintenance planning Ability to QA/QC work packages after work completion. Ability to understand Preventive Maintenance programs and how to translate that to work packages.

Responsibilities: • Assists with the development of the control valve work scope. • Identify, scope, and produce construction work packages for execution. • Ability to read BOM and identify parts need for valve overhauls • Perform and lead field walks for site verification. • Organizing materials through expediting, quoting prices, and ensuring the correct parts are available for jobs • Create detailed planning activities in P6 for each work order utilizing planning templates as applicable. Activities include individual tasks, Client, durations, and assigned discipline. • Provide daily schedule updates during outage execution. • Create job planning packages for each work order per Air Products guidelines for both internal and external distribution, e.g. bid events, contractor field personnel, etc. Packages may include pictures, P&IDs, BOMs, tools, safe work procedures, applicable standards, QC requirements, etc. • Support Air Products Management of Change process, recognizing plant changes and following through on all documentation and recommendations in a timely manner. • Ability to effectively communicate scope, revisions, and activity breakdowns to other groups. • Uphold and communicate high standards of housekeeping in assigned areas and on all job sites. Conduct frequent formal housekeeping inspections of plant areas. • Complete close out and documentation as required by Air Products standards and procedures. Performance Standard: • Willing to work a wide variety of scheduled days and hours, following strict fatigue management guidelines. Travel may be required as much as 25% depending on projects • Ability to work without close supervision. • Utilizes positive and constructive attitude toward resolution of problems and conflicts. • Accepts direction, criticism, and supervision. • Demonstrates ability to remain calm in demanding situations. • Ability to work within and promote a teamwork philosophy. • Makes good use of time, completing assigned tasks in a timely manner. • Ability to demonstrate and perform efficiently and reliably all categories of this document.
