Responsibilities
Collaborates with subject matter experts to translate complex health information into accessible, engaging, and student-centered communications. Ensures that all messaging aligns with CHAW's strategic goals and public health standards. Develops, implements, and evaluates strategic marketing campaigns that align with CHAW's mission and student wellness priorities. Leads the development of social marketing and social norm campaigns to shift perceptions and behaviors related to college health and wellness topics. Coordinates outreach efforts with university partners and student organizations to amplify messaging. Plans, creates, and schedules content across all CHAW social media channels, including Instagram and Facebook. Monitors engagement, responds to inquiries, and analyzes metrics to inform and improve strategy. Maintains and updates the CHAW website to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and student-focused content. Collaborates with CHAW staff and campus partners to regularly refresh online resources. Develops visually engaging and informative print and digital materials, including flyers, posters, brochures, infographics, presentations, and video content. Ensures brand consistency across all materials and adherence to university guidelines. Works closely with the Assistant Director, Public Relations & Appointment Scheduling, and cross-functional teams on health promotion messaging and outreach planning. Serves as liaison with DSA Marketing and vendors for media production, printing, and distribution. Tracks and evaluates the effectiveness of marketing efforts using tools such as analytics, surveys, and focus groups. Uses data to make recommendations for improving student engagement and campaign outcomes. Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the principles and practices of event planning and ability to coordinate, organize and evaluate meetings and/or events. Ability to gather, interpret, report, and/or edit information. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to utilize problem solving skills.
