Monday – Thursday, 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM (28–30 hours/week) Pay:
$30 - $32/hour Guaranteed hours every week Benefits:
1 week paid vacation, 2-4 sick/personal days, major holidays
Overview: A warm and busy family in Manchester-by-the-Sea is seeking a reliable and experienced part-time afternoon nanny to care for their two children ages 6 and 13 years old. The family is looking for someone who can take initiative, manage afternoon routines, and confidently support their sweet, respectful, and adventurous son who has autism. Responsibilities: School pick-up for both children Driving to and from activities Providing afternoon care and engagement Creating a calm and structured environment, especially for their son Light tidying related to the children (e.g., dishes, school bags, etc.) Communicating regularly with parents regarding the day and any concerns
Qualifications: Prior experience with children on the autism spectrum
(preferred not required) Comfortable driving children (must have a valid driver’s license and clean record) Kind, patient, dependable, and proactive Flexible and able to adapt to a family’s dynamic schedule Excellent communication skills Dog friendly Fully vaccinated (standard and COVID) CPR/First Aid Certification required (or willingness to obtain) Provide 3-5 professional references Must have U.S. work authorization
