ITS has a client in the Franklin, OH area seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. This is a contract to direct position, with great company!
Maintenance Mechanic Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for installing, repairing, adjusting, modifying, troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on all types of plant equipment and facility. Responsible for following all plant and safety rules including all safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements. Inspect, dismantle, repair, replace, install, clean and assemble as necessary to maintain equipment/buildings as necessary. Able to communicate information to maintenance supervision and engineering to assist in analyzing equipment or for the purpose of making equipment modifications. Perform pipe installations and repairs in various pipelines. Interpret blue prints for equipment information and installation. Works with maintenance supervisor to insure a sufficient level of back up spares for all mechanical equipment. Utilize torches, welders and burning equipment. Maintains daily shift inspection and repair logs for review by supervision, and other plant personnel. Minimal travel requirements as needed for training, etc., as determined by Supervision. Any and all other responsibilities as assigned by Supervision Experience
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Manufacturing Environment, in the Maintenance department Education, Licenses & Certifications
High School Diploma or GED Take and pass Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Test Additional Information
Must be able to work rotating shift schedule and overtime
