Warehouse Associate - Receiving/Unloader/Lumper

Summary/Objective
The Warehouse Associate - Primary role is manually unloading containers, stacking cartons onto pallets and shrink-wrapping pallets. Unloader/Lumper is responsible for assisting in various warehouse operations, including unloading containers, inventory management and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The Unloader/Lumper position is a support role for several areas of the warehouse, including but not limited to quality, inventory and receiving. Essential Functions
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
• Always work in a safe manner by applying and following all safety regulations that meet OSHA and FARO safety guidelines.
• Perform unloading duties such as manual lifting, sorting and wrapping.
• Ensure all product produced meets published quality standards.
• Follow instructions on receiving orders.
• Count, sort and inspect cartons upon unloading a container.
• Wrap pallets once cartons are stacked.
• Report defective product or questionable conditions to the department Supervisor.
• Ability to communicate effectively - both written and verbally
• Perform related duties as required by supervision.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.

Physical Requirements
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to carry 35 lbs.
• May be required to stand for long periods of time.
• May involve some repetitive motions.
• May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling.
• Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
Salary Description
$17.00-$18.50
