About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Chief People Officer (CPO) who will play a crucial role in shaping and enhancing our personnel operations. As the CPO, you will be at the heart of guiding and strengthening our citywide HR systems, workforce relations, and talent development strategies. This strategic leadership position requires an inclusive and forward-thinking HR executive who is dedicated to nurturing the city’s most invaluable asset - its people.
The Chief People Officer will head the centralized Human Resources and Personnel Department, collaborating closely with the Mayor and executive team to effectively manage a professional workforce. Candidates for this exciting role should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's preferred) and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in personnel administration or labor relations. Additionally, at least three years of public HR management and leadership experience is essential.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive HR and labor relations expertise, especially in public or unionized environments. We seek a strategic, compassionate, and data-informed leader who can serve as a vital partner in our organization. This is not merely an administrative role; it is a chance to make a significant impact on the growth and development of our city's workforce.
