Maintenance Lead-Bravo Shift
to oversee the day-to-day operations and repairs of facility infrastructure and production equipment. This is an opportunity for a seasoned professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is eager to take ownership of both preventive and emergency maintenance processes. You'll play a critical role in maintaining safe, compliant, and productive work environments, while mentoring a team and driving operational excellence.
This role requires a balance of technical expertise, team leadership, and a deep commitment to safety and continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Lead and perform skilled maintenance tasks across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC systems. Collaborate with the Facility & Maintenance Manager on maintenance planning, budgeting, and project execution. Conduct routine and complex troubleshooting on CNC machines, PLCs, and other critical production equipment. Install, relocate, or teardown equipment as needed. Maintain mobile equipment, including forklifts and man lifts. Support fabrication, tool alteration, and repair projects using machine shop tools and drawings/specs. Execute advanced preventive maintenance using specialized diagnostic equipment. Oversee and maintain work order documentation, including task assignment and closure. Ensure full compliance with safety standards and promote a strong EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) culture. Assist in job rotation planning and cross-functional training initiatives. Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment. Provide exceptional service to internal stakeholders and assist other departments as needed. Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience with CNC repair, PLC troubleshooting, and machine diagnostics. Proficiency with a wide range of tools, including hand, power, and diagnostic testing tools. Solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Strong working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Prior experience maintaining industrial equipment such as forklifts and aerial lifts. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Forklift operation certification or willingness to obtain. Preferences:
Previous experience leading or training a maintenance team. Background in cost tracking, project planning, or budget oversight. Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or 6S methodologies. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work across departments. Commitment to a high standard of safety, integrity, and team collaboration.
