Job Description: We are a premier Bay Area Fire Sprinkler Contractor seeking motivated full-time designers. Our company specializes in design and installation, service, and inspection of fire sprinkler systems. Operate CAD equipment to provide complex layouts of fire sprinkler systems, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches and diagrams. Possesses a solid understanding of design and drafting techniques and utilizes these skills in the development of fire sprinkler layouts and systems. Apply fire protection codes and standards to the design of fire sprinkler systems, water supplies, pumps, standpipes, foam systems, and water storage tanks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Read and interpret ASMEP blueprints/PDF's, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports. Perform preliminary and advanced work in development of working layouts and final master drawings. Confer with engineers/consultants or other personnel to layout a code-compliant fire sprinkler system. Coordinate and monitor aspects of production, including fabrication, installation issues, and inspection comments. Design automatic fire sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, fire pumps, and underground systems Perform and analyze hydraulic calculations, plot plans, and stock-list/fabricate material for the job site. Assist with the preparation of proposal documents, technical data such as test procedures, reports, maintenance manuals, etc.. Minimum Qualifications:

3 years Experience in fire sprinkler design and AutoCad is preferred. Experience using Microsoft Office and computer aided design (CAD) software - Autodesk AutoCAD; Autodesk Revit; Autodesk Navisworks; AutoSPRINK, BIM 360. Must have good communication skills, be reliable, multi-task, and have an ability to problem solve complex issues. Will be required to provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, email, and/or in person. Must be able to analyze information and evaluate the results to problem solve and choose cost effective and material efficient solutions. Will be required to observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources. Basic understanding of mathematics and physics relevant to design and hydraulics. On the job training is available and required Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.

Anticipated Close Date 8/17/2025

Pay Range 25-43/hr based on experience
