Summary:
Under general supervision, responsible for working with engineering to conceptualize and design ASME pressure vessels, piping systems, and other drawings rated to on-shore skid mounted packages. May be assigned as a member of a project team or work independently on standard designs or customer specified packages.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
With engineering support, create detailed engineering specifications, including component fabrication & assembly drawings, P&IDs, CnC files, and bill of materials. Enter information into various engineering databases including the item master and product structure records. Interface with project team members, vendors, clients, and shop personnel to achieve on time delivery of projects. Check drawings for accuracy, format, and completeness. Capable of working directly with shop and QA personnel to resolve open items that arise during fabrication. Able to work on multiple projects concurrently while achieving project deadlines to Ensure On-time Deliveries. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Skills/Knowledge
Proficiency in evaluating design feasibility and cost implications Ability to take a project from the evaluation stage through detail design and final release. Experience working on ASME VIII Div. 1 Pressure vessels and various piping standards. Including but not limited Scrubbers, Filter Separators, Coalescers, Glycol Regeneration units, Dehydration Towers, etc. Compress experience is preferred. Process instrumentation knowledge preferred. Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines. Education
High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's Degree in Engineering or related field preferred. Experience
5+ years of drafting experience and 2+ years of design experience. 2+ years of experience with SolidWorks and PDM.
