Assistant Manager
The primary responsibility is to assist the Property Manager, on an as-needed basis, with the Property Manager's duties including leasing, accounting and managing the staff and therefore will have to have a working knowledge of these disciplines. In the Property Manager's absence, this position will assume all responsibilities of the Property Manager. Working evenings and weekends is typical and usual.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Responsible for the on-going file maintenance and protection of the files. Be thoroughly familiar and cross-trained on the OneSite rent-roll accounting system so as to perform, instruct and correct all functions as needed. Is proficient at posting of all monies on the system, reporting and procedures for processing invoices. Serves as back-up and performs the duties of Leasing Associate as described in the Company job description for that position. Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalency. Basic office administration and mathematics. Preferred experience with communities over 350 units One year of OneSite experience preferred One year of assistant manager experience preferred A+ property, not B or C property experience Some weekend work possible Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills are required.
