The Lead Pool Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of pool cleaning and maintenance services across a designated route, while also supporting and guiding a team of Pool Maintenance Technicians. This role combines hands-on pool service responsibilities with leadership and oversight duties, including training, route audits, quality control, and customer communication. The Lead serves as a field extension of management, helping to uphold company standards and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily pool cleaning and maintenance services, including vacuuming, brushing, chemical testing, and equipment inspection. Lead by example by demonstrating best-in-class service standards and consistent professionalism. Provide field training and support to new or underperforming technicians. Conduct regular route audits to ensure compliance with service protocols and quality standards. Assist with scheduling, route coverage, and coordination during technician absences. Serve as a point of contact for escalated customer concerns or service issues. Report equipment, vehicle, or chemical inventory needs and discrepancies to management. Support management with documentation of service issues, performance concerns, and route feedback. Ensure that all services are logged accurately using company software or reporting tools. Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and accountability among team members. Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years of professional pool service experience. Proven track record of quality service, punctuality, and customer satisfaction. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common pool equipment and chemistry issues. Strong communication and leadership skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Familiarity with pool industry tools, equipment, and software (ServiceTitan or similar preferred). Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb in/out of trucks or pool areas for extended periods.
