Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Primary point of contact for benefit inquiries. Assist with benefits administrative processes, plans and programs. Respond to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries. Support the administration and daily processing of all health & welfare programs to include, medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, and FSA. Process the monthly benefit carrier invoices. Manage subpoena requests and ensure timely responses. Assist with incoming unemployment claims and Medical Support Orders. Ensure the benefit processes tied to company payroll and/or outside vendors are kept current. Review employee benefit processes and provide leadership with process improvement recommendations. Manage the benefits arrears process. Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of benefits offerings. As needed, conduct research on various benefits and other total rewards. Prepare employer required notices for distribution to staff. Maintain employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in payroll system for payroll deduction. Qualifications: What you need to bring
2+ years' experience in employee benefits administration required. Associates in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required. Must have basic knowledge of all federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements relating to employee benefit programs. Must have proven abilities to process secure data feeds. Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively, both verbally and in writing with employees, vendors and coworkers. Must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Pay Range:
$20.00 - $23.00 Hourly
