We are looking for a talented and creative UX Designer to join our team and lead the design of our Telecare application. In this role, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences that meet the needs of our healthcare professionals and patients. You will work closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality designs that enhance the usability and accessibility of our telehealth solutions.
Essential Responsibilities of this Role:
User Research:
Conduct user research to gain insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points. Utilize various research methods, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing. User Journey Mapping:
Develop user personas and create detailed user journey maps to visualize the experience of different users interacting with the Telecare application. Wireframing and Prototyping:
Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions to stakeholders and the development team. Design Guidelines:
Establish and maintain design standards and best practices to ensure a consistent and visually appealing user experience across the application. Collaboration:
Work closely with product owners, developers, and other designers to iterate on designs based on user feedback and technical constraints. Usability Testing:
Organize and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback on designs and identify areas for improvement, continually refining the user experience. Accessibility Compliance:
Ensure that all design outputs adhere to accessibility standards and guidelines to create an inclusive experience for all users. Stakeholder Communication:
Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating their feedback into the design process and maintaining transparency throughout. Technology & Innovation:
Evaluate new technologies and interaction paradigms such as AI for their impact on user experience. What You Need to Succeed in the Role
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in UX design, preferably in healthcare or telehealth applications. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Scrum practices. Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and experience with user-centered design practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about user experience challenges. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey design ideas to non-design stakeholders. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Understanding and experience in healthcare delivery, including healthcare privacy and data security standards (HIPAA, SOC2, HITRUST, GDPR, etc.).
