Description Leidos National Security Sector (NSS) is on the lookout for a talented and seasoned Senior Lead Pricing Analyst to enrich our dynamic pricing team. This position is centered in Reston, VA, with onsite responsibilities for classified proposals in Reston, VA, and Chantilly, VA. Primary Responsibilities: Oversee the development of cost volumes, including narrative creation, cost exhibit generation, and financial documentation, ensuring all submissions align with internal guidelines, federal regulations, and solicitation requirements. Guide proposal cost volume teams by partnering with various functional areas like contracts, subcontracts & procurement, capture management, finance, and technical estimators to create complete, compliant, and effective cost proposals. Engage in proposal development and compliance discussions, including pricing strategy sessions, price-to-win reviews, risk assessments, and compliance evaluations. Construct comprehensive pricing models that enable in-depth analysis and result in polished final deliverables, leveraging advanced Excel capabilities. Organize pricing documentation following company policies and RFP guidelines, and take part in peer reviews of customer pricing submissions, cost volume narratives, and supporting files. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience in cost volume development and government contract pricing analysis; additional experience may substitute for a degree. Demonstrated experience in all areas of proposal development, pricing strategy, and government contracting, with an understanding of various contract types (Cost-Plus, FFP, T&M, GSA, IDIQ, etc.). Solid understanding of FAR/DFAR, CAS, and DCMA/DCAA standards, as well as government finance principles and basic estimating approaches. Ability to assist in pricing and narrative development throughout the entire proposal lifecycle, from pre-solicitation strategies to post-award analysis, with the flexibility for occasional evening and weekend work. High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with pricing templates and tools. Exceptional Excel skills, capable of constructing pricing models using lookups and pivot tables, and managing extensive, complex datasets. Customer-focused with a professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities with keen attention to detail, multitasking capabilities, and adaptability to fast-paced, deadline-oriented settings. U.S. Citizenship is required. Eligibility to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is highly preferred. Advanced degree or certification (MBA, NCMA, ICEAA, etc.) is a plus. Experience with Deltek ProPricer is highly desirable. Familiarity with commercial business models.
