Summary:
The floater is responsible for the stocking, cleaning and general upkeep of the store and fuel station grounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Floater:
Stock main cooler, floor coolers and store goods. Collect and dispose of store and fuel dispenser trash. Collect and dispose of store cardboard. Freshen and replenish pump waters and fuel dispenser towels. Replace empty fuel dispenser receipt paper rolls. Check fuel dispensers for any deficiencies or damage. Fill propane containers for customers. Deal with gas spills at dispenser islands. Clean grounds around store and fuel dispensers Clean station restrooms and interior floor. Clean exterior surfaces of fuel dispensers. Alert supervisor of any broken of damaged items in and around gas station. Alert supervisor of any suspicious activity in and around gas station. Serve as back up cashier Other duties, as assigned. Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Floater:
Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, etc. for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Must have excellent cash handling and customer service skills. Must have a current food workers card. Other Skills/Abilities:
Must be able to proficiently and safely operate propane fuel dispenser.
Requirements:
Assist handicap customers with fueling needs. Give customers directions if asked. Education and Experience:
Must be at least 18 years of age. High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a Washington State Food Handler's Permit. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Able to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service. Able to read, write, and perform simple math problems. Able to interpret, understand, and follow instructions and solve problems. Must pass criminal background check and oral drug screen. Eligible After Completion of Probationary Period (FT Employees):
