Studio McGee is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Senior Brand Designer, Web Experience to join our Brand Creative team. Reporting to the Director of Brand Creative and partnering closely with the Director of Web Operations, this role is pivotal in shaping the digital expression of both McGee&Co.com and StudioMcGee.com. The ideal candidate is a multidisciplinary designer who thrives at the intersection of UX, UI, and visual storytelling-someone who brings strong conceptual thinking, refined craft, and a passion for delivering best-in-class digital experiences.

In this role, you'll lead the ideation and execution of web experiences that drive brand affinity and customer engagement, translating strategic goals into thoughtful wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual comps. You'll collaborate across teams-including marketing, product, web operations and merchandising-to create seamless journeys that unify digital, retail, and cross-platform touchpoints. As a senior contributor, you'll also be expected to manage timelines, communicate with stakeholders, and push the boundaries of what's possible in digital design through innovative thinking and a deep fluency in typography, layout, and composition. This role requires a hybrid of creative problem solving and strategic thinking to create iconic digital experiences that position our brand as a leader in the home furnishing space.

Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end UX/UI design process for key digital touchpoints across Studio McGee and McGee & Co., including homepage experiences, landing pages, and campaign content. Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, marketers, and merchandisers to define project goals and deliver cohesive, user-centered solutions. Translate business and user needs into wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity visual comps, and annotated specs that align with brand standards and digital best practices. Develop and maintain scalable design systems, component libraries, and style guides to ensure consistency across platforms. Champion accessible, intuitive, and on-brand design solutions that elevate the user experience and reinforce our visual identity. Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders with clarity and confidence; participate in design reviews and contribute constructive feedback. Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies, applying insights to continuously elevate creative output. Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of collaboration, growth, and creative excellence. Effectively manage multiple projects and timelines, proactively communicating progress and roadblocks to key stakeholders. Skill and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, or a related field. 5-7+ years of professional experience in digital design, with a strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI work across e-commerce, lifestyle, or brand-driven websites. Expertise in visual design principles including typography, layout, color theory, and composition. Proficient in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD), Sketch, and Keynote. Strong understanding of user-centered design, responsive and adaptive design, and accessibility best practices. Experience developing and evolving design systems to maintain consistency across platforms. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions to both creative and cross-functional teams. Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment. A passion for design with a growth mindset and eagerness to stay current with digital trends and emerging technologies. Bonus: Experience with motion design (Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D) and/or front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
