Job Description:
The selected candidate will work as a Business Process Reengineer supporting Army Futures Command (AFC) at Thompson Gray. The successful candidate will collaborate with customers to document current business processes through the development of standard operating procedures, process maps, and workflows. Key responsibilities include identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements. Experience with the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) is highly desirable. A background in Army Resource Management, Accounting, Finance, and/or Budgeting is beneficial.

Client is located at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in the Hampton/Newport News Virigina area. Job requirements are to be on-site 5 days a week, with the potential for a hybrid schedule in the future.
Duties will include:
Conduct in-depth analyses of current processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Document and standardize all Army business processes impacting financial statements, ensuring auditability and improvement to operations across the command/or center.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures and Process Maps with Internal Controls.
Develop Job Aids.
Develop Implementation Plans to ensure new processes are integrated into the organization.
Assist with Risk Management and Internal Controls (RMIC) support and activities including financial reporting and execution of audit and remediation of weaknesses within business processes and internal controls.
Monitor the outcomes of process changes and make adjustments.
Position Requirements:
Must be a U.S. or must have or be able to obtain a Secret-level clearance.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products, including Visio
Other Qualifications:
GFEBS experience highly desired
AXOL, SPS experience welcome
RMIC/Audit experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other related fields
