Job Description
The Commerical Planning and Operations Assistant Manager will be part of the Commerical Planning and Operations team. They will work cross functionally with Account Planning, Visual Merchandising, Omnichannel, and Sales teams to help provide best in class service through product placement. They will also assist in tracking orders and delivery of all launch programming and basic non saleable to the US wholesale market.
Key Responsibilities:
ALLOCATION:
This position oversees allocations of all launch programming and basic non saleable items, acting as the key person to ensure all retailers are given the correct stock maximizing sell in and sell thru opportunities. New Launch:
Through retail sales analysis this role will strategically allocate all forecasts pertaining to launch programming by retailer in a timely manner. This includes cross functional communication with VM and Commercial Planning counterparts to properly allocate non saleable launch elements appropriately. This role is responsible for managing the quota system, ensuring all launch quantities are reflected contributing to a seamless order process Communication of allocations to Account Planning team Consumption tracking of all launch aspects to uphold forecast accuracy KPIs
Non Saleable:
Quarterly allocations of Testers, Samples, and Art of Gifting to US wholesale retailers
Comparing forecast vs available stock and allocating based on mix of business/door count to ensure non saleable items are in the appropriate location Tracking consumption to ensure forecast accuracy KPIs are met on a monthly/quarterly basis
Allocating any adhoc requests from US wholesale teams
ANALYSIS:
Manage Code 3 Dashboard-
Assuring forecast matches supply forecast through weekly checks Updating with an forecast changes by budget owner
Future capacity to take on ad hoc projects such as Tester Mapping in close partnership with Visual Merchandising and Account Planning teams to find efficiencies within POSM spend Qualifications
2+ years of experience in sales operations or planning function with strong forecasting and budget experience Strong analytical skills; experienced with metrics, Excel, and PowerPoint Highly collaborative & passionate team player with a positive & professional attitude Entrepreneurial & a 'Go-Getter': goal-orientated, driven to be proactive and exceed expectations Self-motivated, committed & resilient Highly organized and detail-oriented Strategic thinker and excellent team player
