As a part of our Strategic Consulting Team, Henderson Engineers is excited to welcome a Senior Manager of Predictive Modeling Services. This role involves leading the development and quality of predictive modeling services, including Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and energy modeling, throughout our organization. You will manage a talented team of subject matter experts, ensuring alignment on technical standards, best practices, and team capabilities to uphold service excellence and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development:
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to CFD and Energy Modeling teams, set goals, establish performance expectations, and nurture growth. Predictive Modeling & Project Execution:
Oversee projects ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and schedule adherence, serving as a subject matter expert from concept through to commissioning. Standards & Process Optimization:
Establish and manage modeling standards and processes while collaborating with engineering and construction teams for seamless integration. Industry Leadership & Business Development:
Represent our company at industry events, build strategic relationships, and contribute to project engagement strategies. Technical Expertise & Innovation:
Stay abreast of industry trends, evaluate data inputs, calibrate models, and enhance modeling efficiency using scripting and automation tools. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field (or 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree). Minimum of 10 years of experience in predictive modeling and mechanical design. Expertise in leading cross-disciplinary technical design teams. Experience in various facilities, including mission-critical, healthcare, research labs, and large venues. Proficient in CFD software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, StarCCM+, FloEFD) and energy modeling tools (e.g., IESVE, eQUEST, EnergyPlus). Advanced understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and building codes including ASHRAE standards. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
