Procurement Expeditor – Engineering/Procurement/Construction (EPC) Projects
Are you highly organized and passionate about keeping complex projects on track? We're looking for a
Procurement Expeditor
to support engineering, procurement, and construction projects in the
power generation and utility
sectors. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in the supply chain—ensuring materials, equipment, and documentation move smoothly from suppliers to project sites. Your attention to detail, follow-through, and strong communication skills will directly impact project timelines and execution. The Procurement Expeditor is responsible for monitoring the flow of materials, verifying shipments, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and coordinating with vendors, internal teams, and material yards. This role ensures materials are accurately aligned with project needs and delivered on time.
Qualifications 1+ years of expediting or procurement experience in
utility, energy, or construction sector s Proven ability to manage and monitor material flow
from suppliers and vendors to construction sites Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Hands-on experience with
ERP systems
(e.g., J.D. Edwards, SAP, Coupa) Skilled in verifying shipments and resolving delivery discrepancies Strong coordination with vendors and collaboration across internal teams Effective communication with material yard personnel Bachelor’s degree (or actively pursuing) in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field — or equivalent relevant experience Key Responsibilities:
Track and coordinate shipments to ensure timely, accurate delivery to construction sites Identify and resolve issues with damaged, missing, or surplus materials promptly Support purchase order management, invoice reconciliation, and vendor communications Maintain document control and keep records up to date and audit-ready Lead supplier calls, drive follow-ups, and track action items to closure Manage and archive quality documentation with attention to detail Collaborate closely with Material Yard Leads to confirm material availability Support reporting efforts and contribute to continuous process improvements Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards Take ownership of special projects as needed to support team goals This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and takes pride in helping complex projects stay on schedule.
