Westaff is looking to hire multiple Warehouse Associate Openings for Manufacturers in Meriden, Watertown, and Southington CT!
Please note, some warehouse locations NOT temp regulated - candidates must be able to work in hot environments in summer
Shifts:
1st and 2nd shifts available
Pay Rate:
$17-21/hr based one experience
Warehouse Associate duties and responsibilities are: Receiving shipments : Unloading trucks, checking deliveries for accuracy, and inspecting for damage. Operating warehouse equipment : Forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and RF scanners. Stocking and organizing inventory : Placing goods in their proper storage locations using shelves, pallets, or bins. Picking and packing orders : Selecting products based on order tickets and preparing them for shipment. Shipping : Labeling, wrapping, and loading outgoing shipments. Inventory control : Counting stock, performing cycle counts, and reporting discrepancies. Maintaining cleanliness : Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and organized. Warehouse Associate requirements are:
Must be able to read, organize and coordinate work instructions Prior warehouse experience - preferred Conform to plant safety rules and regulations Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand long periods of time and bend Willingness to purchase steel toe boots
