The Skilled Trades Specialist is a skilled "jack-of-all-trades" responsible for various repair and construction duties across PARA facilities, primarily in carpentry and related trades. This role encompasses tasks such as framing, drywall installation, painting, flooring, general construction work, and basic repairs to electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. The position supports PARA's mission by maintaining the quality, safety, and functionality of buildings, parks, and recreation facilities throughout Tuscaloosa County. The ideal candidate demonstrates craftsmanship, problem-solving skills, and flexibility in tackling a wide range of maintenance projects.
