Compensation:
We are committed to providing competitive and fair compensation. The base hourly pay for this position is $16.50 plus tips, determined by job-related skills, experience, and location. Work Schedule:
The work schedule typically includes shifts from 7am - 3pm or 3pm - 11pm. Benefits:

SUMMARY The Valet Parking Attendant is responsible for offering exceptional hospitality services to guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Your key duties include parking and retrieving vehicles promptly and safely, as well as assisting guests with their luggage during their arrival and departure. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform all functions. Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients. Greet guests within five feet with a smile and use their last names during interactions. - 25% Welcome guests using the salutation of the day. Follow proper phone etiquette. Remain in designated areas when not engaged in tasks. - 10% Parking and retrieving vehicles while driving cautiously. Assist guests with luggage storage and bell services as needed. Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests. - 20% Provide assistance with directions, taxis, reservations, and information about hotel amenities and local attractions. Deliver messages and items as requested. Shuttle guests as approved by management. - 10% Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests. Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect them from guests before handing over keys. Ensure meticulous completion of ticket information and key tags. Calculate and collect payment for parking when necessary. - 35% QUALIFICATIONS Education:
High school diploma or GED Licensure:
Must possess a valid driver's license applicable to the state of employment. Work Experience:
Minimum of one month of related experience or equivalent education and experience. Knowledge:
Understanding of customer service principles and processes. Skills:
Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding simple instructions; effective communication skills; basic math abilities; familiarity with military time; ability to operate a manual transmission and perform parallel parking is a plus. SCOPE Authority to Act:
The role involves routine tasks with established practices. The employee follows specific directions and guidelines, with work frequently checked by supervisors.
