Description
Attachment Operations Specialist (AOS)
The Attachment Operations Specialist (AOS) is responsible for overseeing all activities related to attachments, including inventory management, replenishment, order processing, reporting, and coordination with internal teams and customers. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient handling of all attachment-related functions while supporting the broader goals of the Inside Sales Department. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and plan attachment inventory needs; issue purchase orders and track delivery timelines, including PO updates Ensure accurate receiving processes and enter received items into the ERP system Process vendor invoices in the ERP system Collaborate with the Product Team to address questions and resolve attachment-related issues Review and report on backorders and attachment sales to support monthly sales goals Assist with allocating attachments to sales orders Identify and suggest improvements to processes and procedures Manage inventory levels in coordination with warehouse staff and suppliers Support warehouse staff in resolving inventory discrepancies, improving organization, and ensuring inventory control Set up new inventory items once approved Communicate with vendors regarding shortages, quality concerns, or other product issues Partner with Inside Sales staff to support daily operations and sales activities Perform other duties as assigned to support the Inside Sales Department Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience in a related role will be considered Strong knowledge of construction products, inventory control, attachment planning, and logistics Proficient in general computer use with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven Ability to work independently and consistently follow through on responsibilities with minimal supervision
