Responsibilities

Cleans and maintains carpeted flooring by vacuuming, spot cleaning or extracting, and using a wet-dry cleaning machine. Vacuums walk-off mats, upholstered furnishings, and fabric patrician furniture. Cleans and maintains tile, wood, and concrete flooring by sweeping, dust mopping, and wet mopping. Applies floor stripper, sealer and finish, and restoration products. Uses automatic floor scrubber, wet vacuum, buffers and burnishers to strip and maintain floors. Dusts and wet cleans horizontal and vertical surfaces including tables, chairs, counters, desks, bookshelves, sills and ledges, diffusers, vents, walls, elevator tracks, doors, marker and chalk boards, trays, interior glass and windows, venetian blinds, etc. Cleans and sanitizes water coolers and public restrooms. Restocks supplies of tissue, towels, and hand soap. Empties waste receptacles and removes trash and other debris excluding hazardous and toxic materials and materials deposited in "SHARP" boxes.
