Quality Control Inspector
This position requires U.S. citizenship.
We are looking for a Quality Inspector who can read and understand our customers’ drawings and corresponding specifications. We are a custom manufacturer and make parts to print. The candidate will inspect the parts throughout the manufacturing process, i.e., first piece, in-process, and final inspection prior to ship. Candidates must be able to read and use blueprints and precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauge, etc.) to determine compliance.
Specific Responsibilities:
Read and understand customer drawings and specifications pertinent to the part being made
Inspect first pieces, in-process, and final parts using applicable measuring devices and understanding of tolerances
Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in quality control as it applies to manufacturing custom manufactured parts
Work closely with the management team in resolving production quality issues and ensure quality procedures are accurate and updated
Ensure all monitoring and measuring equipment are operating properly and are calibrated
Familiarity with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 standards is a plus
Ability to conduct internal quality audits is a plus

From $18.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
