We’re seeking a
dedicated Maintenance Technician
to join our growing team! Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency in attendance are crucial for success in this role. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of effectively managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Your Impact as a Maintenance Technician In this role, you will:
Lead Maintenance Operations : Hire, train, and supervise the
maintenance team
to ensure efficient facility upkeep.
Promote Safety & Compliance : Conduct and document
fire control system inspections
and coordinate
monthly fire drills .
Oversee Preventive Maintenance : Establish and implement a
preventive maintenance program
to proactively address facility needs.
Ensure Equipment Efficiency : Maintain and repair facility equipment, including
HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers, dryers, and emergency power generators .
Manage Supplies & Budget : Order and maintain an adequate
stock of supplies and equipment
while staying within budget constraints.
Supervise Contractors : Oversee
outside contractors
performing repairs or maintenance work.
Maintain Facility Standards : Ensure that all
physical plant and equipment
are in safe,
operational condition
and meet
compliance regulations .
Support Training Initiatives : Provide
job-specific training
to department employees to uphold safety and operational standards.
Coordinate Facility Hours : Schedule
department shifts
in alignment with census needs and labor budgets.
What Makes You a Great Fit We’re seeking someone who:
Has
experience in facility maintenance , preferably in healthcare or long-term care settings.
Holds knowledge of
heating and air conditioning systems, boiler and water systems, and other essential facility equipment .
Understands
preventive maintenance principles
and has experience implementing maintenance programs.
Possesses
strong communication and leadership skills
to train and coordinate staff effectively.
Is detail-oriented with the ability to manage a
facility maintenance budget .
HVAC experience is preferred but not required .
