Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and customer service. This role involves ensuring that all building systems are functioning properly and maintaining a safe and efficient environment for residents and staff.
The Maintenance Technician must provide their own basic tools for the position and will be expected to work flexible hours, including on-call evening rotation, weekend & holiday work and overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs Execute general facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical repairs Provide excellent customer service while interacting with residents and staff Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Requirements
Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems Proficiency in residential painting techniques is a plus Familiarity with electrical systems and repair practices Excellent customer service skills with a focus on resident satisfaction Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing Knowledge of heating & air conditioning unit repair and maintenance, preferred. Knowledge of pool maintenance, preferred. Basic understanding of repair & maintenance of appliances, plumbing and electrical.
