As a Senior Manager at Simon-Kucher, you will be a criticalmember of our TMT leadership team in North America with focus in the Softwareor Telco industry, driving value-based outcomes and creating impact in keyareas.
Strategic Focus Area:
Develop and implement strategies across packaging, pricing, monetization models, product launch, sales force effectiveness, and customer base management. Manage project delivery leveraging a depth of content knowledge and client relationship-building skills with expertise in the TMT sector. Contribute to the growth of Simon-Kucher's TMT sector by driving client relationships, supporting thought leadership, identifying follow-on engagement opportunities. Client Engagements:
Lead and manage the delivery of client engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction. Drive project planning and execution, aligning project delivery with client needs and managing costs. Prepare and present client-ready deliverables, incorporating feedback and ensuring exceptional service. Create engagement workplans and guide the team through the project activities, including oversight of primary/secondary research, and qualitative plus quantitative analysis to obtain key insights, findings, and takeaways for clients. Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain trusted, credible senior-level advisory relationships by delivering high-quality, tailored recommendations and strategic advice that our clients can execute to realize benefits. Effectively engage senior client audience at all stages of their commercial growth strategy, obtaining buy-in for the recommendations. Lead and manage client projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with client needs, driving project delivery, and managing costs, margins, and resources effectively. Manage multiple engagements and project teams, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure team development and project success. Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor project teams to desired end-goal by defining clear roles and responsibilities, demonstrating strong project management approach and execution cadence, and being the primary point of contact for client teams. Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment, to develop actionable insights using data, analytics, and research that deliver recommendations for clients. Effectively manage multiple engagements and project teams, providing coaching, training, and feedback as an objective Career Development Advisor (CDA) to junior team members. Lead project teams by defining clear roles and responsibilities, demonstrating strong project management approach and execution cadence, and being the primary client point of contact. Thought Leadership: Contribute to the development of thought leadership materials, including whitepapers, case studies, and industry reports in collaboration with peers and seniors in TMT practice. Analyze existing processes and tools, recommending opportunities for improvement and contributing to the growth of the TMT practice. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to our clients' businesses. Be a leader in the firm and contribute to Simon-Kucher's culture and success. Your profile:

Education & Experience:
An undergraduate degree is required; MS, MA, MBA, or other advanced degree is preferred. Minimum 7+ years of experience in a professional services environment, ideally in management consulting, serving the Technology, Media, & Telecom industry; Software and Telco sector specialization a plus. Proven record of accomplishment of managing multiple engagements, including work plans, deliverables, budgets and schedules, and accounts receivable. Demonstrated record of solving complex problems, directing teams, managing individuals, and completing challenging projects activities within tight timelines. Skills:
Proven expertise in growth & commercial strategy, packaging & packaging, monetization, marketing, value proposition development, distribution strategy, and sales force effectiveness. Strong analytical skills with ability to distill insights/takeaways from large sets of data. Effective ability to present and communicate findings and recommendations to a senior audience. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work seamlessly and collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Additional Considerations/Preferences:
Access to an existing network within the TMT industry in North America is a plus, preferably with senior executives within Technology, Media, and/or Telecom. Proven ability to build new thought leadership content. In-office or client site presence 2-3 days per week in alignment with our hybrid working model. Ability to travel at least 25% of the time.
The pay range for this position in California is$200,000-$210,000/year and in New York is $190,000-$200,000/year. Compensationmay vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, andbusiness needs. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paidtime off, 13 paid holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, basiclife insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
