The Role:
As the Maintenance Technician,you will support the maintenance department in various activities.
Your Responsibilities: Transfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from work stations and other areas. Clean or lubricate vehicles, machinery, equipment, instruments, tools, work areas, and other objects, using hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment. Adjust, maintain, and repair tools, equipment, and machines, and assist more skilled workers with similar tasks. Install or replace machinery, equipment, and new or replacement parts and instruments, using hand or power tools. Disassemble broken or defective equipment to facilitate repair and reassemble equipment when repairs are complete. Apply protective materials to equipment, components, and parts to prevent defects and corrosion. Assemble and maintain physical structures, using hand or power tools. Organize and maintain inventory. Prepare work stations for use by mechanics and repairers. Design, weld and fabricate parts, using blueprints or other mechanical plans. Our Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred Experience using hand tools (pneumatic tools, wrenches, hammers and chisels) Work fairly independently or under minimal supervision Safety/quality minded Good work ethic Organized and detail oriented Able to effectively communicate to employees, departments and management Forklift experience and using overhead cranes a plus Self-starter Takes responsibilities for own actions including the impact of own decisions on others
Pay Range:
$24.00 - $25.00
