Join a leading hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, seeking a dedicated Nursing Manager for our Cardiovascular Catheterization Lab. Salary:
$92,000.00 - $121,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the Cath Lab department, ensuring efficient and effective patient care. Maintain continuous compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards. Leverage teamwork among multidisciplinary teams to meet clinical and operational goals effectively. Conduct regular reviews of departmental policies and procedures and implement improvements as necessary. Monitor and manage staffing requirements, schedules, and departmental budgets to optimize productivity and cost-efficiency. Develop training programs and initiatives to ensure staff are up-to-date with the latest healthcare practices and technologies. Minimum Position Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited School of Nursing. Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certifications. At least 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with 1-2 years in a managerial or supervisory role. Proven ability to provide age-appropriate care and services to all patients. Preferred Qualifications:
Masters in Nursing or related healthcare administration field preferred. Previous experience managing a Cath Lab or similar unit. Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills. Familiarity with budget management and cost containment. Experience in staff development and training. Skills:
Excellent organizational and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in medical software and Microsoft Office Suite. High degree of empathy and a patient-centric mindset. Ability to handle high-stress situations professionally and ethically. Benefits:
