As a Perinatal Sonographer III, you will be responsible for obstetric imaging in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team in Emory Perinatal Center. Job duties include: Calibrating, adjusting, and maintaining ultrasound equipment Selecting proper transducer and technical factors for accurate ultrasound procedures Creating preliminary prenatal ultrasound reports for each study performed Demonstrating responsibility for own professional growth through pursuit of work-related experiences and educational opportunities Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound and registered as a Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with OB/GYN issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Med Sonography (ARDMS); and advanced training that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Sonography. 3 years or perinatal imaging experience and Fetal Echocardiography registry issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or 6 years of experience with or without Fetal Echocardiography registry. Experience performing Nuchal Translucency studies. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required. Preferred Qualifications: Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registration with Fetal Echocardiography issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) preferred.
