Payroll Manager Opportunity

The Position The Payroll Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily payroll operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this leader will oversee a team of five direct reports. This manager will collaborate with IT and HR teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and will assist in resolving payroll disputes. Additional responsibilities include cross-departmental collaboration to support broader financial functions such as accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, auditing, budgeting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is an experienced payroll specialist with a friendly, team-oriented demeanor. They should be curious, motivated, and a solutions-driven leader with prior supervisory experience. Strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and excellent communication abilities are essential. Experience collaborating with an ONA contract is highly preferred. This position is fully onsite with no option for remote or hybrid work. Requirements Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred. Minimum of eight years of progressive financial experience, including at least three years in a leadership role.
