Worldpac, a leading provider of automotive parts, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sr. Payroll Analyst to join our team in Oak Brook, IL. This role will be instrumental in managing payroll processes for our US, Puerto Rico, and Canada operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Workday and will collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to streamline payroll processes and ensure data integrity. Responsibilities Manage payroll processes for US, Puerto Rico, and Canada, ensuring timely and accurate payroll execution. Utilize Workday to process payroll, maintain payroll records, and ensure data accuracy. Troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues, working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors as needed. Ensure that all payroll taxes (federal, state, local, provincial) are accurately calculated and paid in a timely manner. Assist in the preparation of year-end reports such as W-2s, 1099s, T4s, RL-1s, and other payroll-related documentation. Partner with HR and Finance to identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements. Develop, test, and deploy custom reports and dashboards to meet business requirements. Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Provide end-user training and documentation to ensure effective use of the Workday payroll system. Stay informed about new features and functionalities of Workday, recommending their adoption as appropriate.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in payroll management, with specific experience in Workday. Strong understanding of US, Puerto Rico, and Canadian payroll regulations and reporting requirements. Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting payroll processes and integrations within Workday. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality. Experience with payroll system implementation or upgrade projects is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work at a computer workstation for extended periods. Occasionally lift or move items up to 15 pounds. Available on-site in Oak Brook, IL 5 days a week.
Posted Salary Range
