NaphCare is hiring an
Accounts Payable Specialist
to join our Accounting team located in our offices on Acton Road, Birmingham, AL 35216
This is not a remote position; work hours are Monday - Friday, during normal business hours.
Responsibilities
The
Accounts Payable Specialist
is responsible for managing the company's financial records related to vendor invoices and payments and ensuring that all outstanding invoices are processed accurately and paid on time, while maintaining strong vendor relationships. Responsibilities may include and not be limited to: Analyzes and processes account payable in a timely manner Codes invoices and check requests with correct codes conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the financial system Investigates and resolve problems associated with the processing of invoices and follow up on pending issues Prepares check requests, wire transfers, and ACH transactions for payment Reconciles vendor statements on a monthly basis researching any discrepancies Performs other duties as required to support the Accounting Department Qualifications
Experience / Requirements / Qualifications
Associate's degree in Business or Accounting preferred with two years' experience in an accounts payable role Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and PDFs Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to meet deadlines Able to work independently and in a team Integrity, professionalism and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements Must pass drug screening Why Join NaphCare?
