With over 700 members, the mill runs 24 hours a day/7 days a week, and is supported by a team of highly skilled EMT's. The new team member will cover shifts whenever necessary due to time off, training or other responsibilities. When not working rotating shifts, the team member will work days. EMT's at the mill are also responsible for:Performing hearing tests, fit tests and drug screensMonitoring traffic in and out of the main gateResponding to emergencies to provide treatment and transport (if necessary)Training other members of our world-class Emergency Response TeamEnsuring/maintaining safe and secure environment for customers and employeesThe Skills You Will Bring: Required Qualifications: Current Basic LA EMT license, BCLS certification, Class D licenseOne year of EMS experienceThe successful candidate will be required to become certified on High Rise Rescue, Confined Space Operations, AHA CPR Instructor and Firefighter One.
