L2 Data Center Technician - Generalist
Insight Global is looking for a sharp team of L2 Data Center Technicians to join an AI cloud platform company sitting in New York state. This is a full-time, permanent role with excellent compensation and benefits. This role will travel throughout the state of NY. This company is dedicated to accelerating their go-to-market time in a big way, so it is imperative for this person to be willing to work hard, take ownership from inception to delivery, and approach every problem with a strategic, open mind. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our critical infrastructure that powers AI workloads for leading technology companies. You will perform advanced technical tasks including hardware replacements, network equipment swaps, and complex cabling projects while ensuring maximum uptime and reliability of our GPU supercomputers. Day-to-day responsibilities: Execute complex hardware replacements including server components, networking devices, and power distribution units Perform structured cabling installations and modifications for both copper and fiber optic connections Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, network, and infrastructure issues to minimize downtime Maintain detailed documentation of all data center assets, configurations, and changes Collaborate with remote engineering teams to implement infrastructure improvements and upgrades We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
