Overview of Position:
Heiser Automotive Group has an opening for an inspirational senior management leader. We are seeking to hire an experienced General Manager who has demonstrated success in running automotive dealerships. This position is open due to internal advancement. The General Manager is responsible for inspiring and developing the team to achieve the dealership's strategic goals and initiatives.
Responsibilities
Set a clear vision along with short and long-term goals for each department manager to achieve dealership goals and budget. Coordinate with the business/administrative office to ensure that records are correctly maintained. Analysis of daily operations, recommending and creating improved courses of action when needed. Engaging and motivating the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations and Heiser Vision and Guiding Principles. Provides enthusiastic leadership to inspire employees and maintain employee engagement. Communicates policies and procedures of the dealership to all employees and ensures execution through leadership and accountability with department managers. Attracts, develops, and retains the best team members for the store. Creating an exceptional customer experience to drive customer loyalty. Resolves any customer complaints that department managers are unable to rectify. Creating a good working relationship with lending institutions and manufacturer representatives and maintaining these relationships. Develops and maintains productive relationships with manufacturer partners, while meeting all OEM performance expectations. Analyzing the business to determine opportunities and developing action plans to improve performance. Developing the business through a high-level of involvement in sales management and the day-to day operations Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Bachelor's Degree
preferred Minimum 5+ years of experience in an automotive sales department Minimum 3+ years General Manager dealership experience. Ability to set and achieve targeted goals Strong financial and business insight and the ability to drive revenue and profitability Valid and clean WI Driver's License Proficiency in Microsoft Office Must be able to work some evenings and Saturdays Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to function as part of a team and work independently Ability to adapt to the needs of a fast-paced work environment Heiser Automotive Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug Free workplace
